dmesg

RX 480, mesa master.
I only tried 4.15-rc2 with DC and drm-next-4.16 with DC and it happens on both.

With llvm 319975 (and 320007) I get a GPU hang every time I start firefox nightly (in X).
With llvm 319882 it works fine.

I can confirm this bug on svn320332 too.

I'm using vanilla kernel.
Comment 2 Christoph Haag 2017-12-11 10:34:58 UTC
Vega broke around the same time. https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=104192
"llvm-svn revision 320250 gives me the freezes meanwhile, 317901 doesnt."

It could be a different bug though.
Comment 3 Michel Dänzer 2017-12-11 10:47:29 UTC
FWIW, I bisected some piglit regressions to LLVM SVN r319894.
Comment 4 Tom Englund 2017-12-12 18:17:21 UTC
sorry had wrong bug, open and changed it to resolved.
Comment 5 Christoph Haag 2017-12-13 08:57:59 UTC
But it is fixed with new LLVM. Most likely it was the same issue.
