Description Yifan Jiang 2010-11-09 00:39:01 UTC
Platform: SLED 11 sp1 i586/x86_64
build info: LibreOffice 3.2.99.2 build 1

[Steps]

    1. Enable quickstarter by checking on
    Tools->Options->Libreoffice->Memory->Checkbox 'Enable systray
    Quickstarter'

    2. Logout system and login again

[Problem]

The checkbox is still checked on in options dialogbox, however the quick
starter is not appeared in the corner of the screen. No soffice process
    resides in the system now.

But has the QuickStarter *ever* worked that way, that a soffice.bin process would be started automatically when you log in?
Comment 2 Yifan Jiang 2010-11-09 01:47:43 UTC
Hi Tor, in OO.o 3.2.1, after login, the quickstarter will show and a process will be there showing something like:

soffice.bin -quickstarter -nologo -nodefault

with `ps aux`

It might be related to the splash binary. There were some fixes in this are for LibO-3.3-beta3.

Yi Fan, do you still see it with beta3?
Comment 4 Yifan Jiang 2010-11-18 19:52:29 UTC
Hi Petr, it works correctly in Beta 3.2.99.3. Thank you!
Comment 5 Yifan Jiang 2010-11-18 20:43:14 UTC
The process is I need to reset the White board and keywords to blank, please let me know if misunderstood.

I would say this can just be resolved as fixed then?
