Hello @ll, I hope, I have chosen the right (sub) component. If not, feel free to change it ... ;) I have installed Anaphraseus 2.03.97b (from http://sourceforge.net/projects/anaphraseus/files/Daily%20Snapshot/Anaphraseus_2.03.97b.oxt/download). Because of scripting framework errors I deinstalled it via Extension Manager, but to no avail ... :( I still have an Anaphraseus menu and a scripting framework error, when I close a Writer document. I tried to deinstall it via its Anaphraseus - Deinstall-menu, where I get an error message saying <quote> Ein Scripting Framework Fehler trat während der Ausführung vom Basic-Script vnd.sun.star.script:LibAnaphrase.Install.RemoveAnaphraseus?language=Basic&location=application auf. Meldung: The following Basic script could not be found: library: 'LibAnaphrase' module: 'install' method: 'RemoveAnaphraseus' location: 'Application' </quote> I still have this problem with <quote< LibreOffice 3.4.3 OOO340m1 (Build:302) </quote> under Debian Testing AMD64, KDE 4.6.5-1 ... :( Is it a problem with LO's Extension Manager or with the extension itself? Sorry for the inconvenience Thomas.
I did not see problems using Anaphraseus, but I only did a really short test Uninstall problem is more or less [Reproducible] with Master "LibO-dev 3.4.5 – WIN7 Home Premium (64bit) English UI [(Build ID:d337f79-a24c961-2865670-9752b71-7f8fd43 2fdd60d-fd28b6a-fd7bf20-aa369cb-28da3fb 6a9633a-931d089-ecd263f-c9b55e9-b31b807 82ff335-599f7e9-bc6a545-1926fdf)]" Uninstall will be done without problems or messages (what differs from reporter's observations), but Menu and toolbars remain after uninstallation. I believe the problem is caused by a faulty extension installation process. I wonder have to uninstall first the menu and then the toolbars manually. This will become complicated ... Anaphraseus currently can not be used for LibO? <http://sourceforge.net/projects/anaphraseus/forums/forum/743096/topic/4470359?message=9851705> <http://sourceforge.net/projects/anaphraseus/forums/forum/743096/topic/4470359?message=9852554> I'm afraid the Extensions concept would become unusable if absolute security is desired. @thackert@nexgo.de For this Anaphraseus problem you should ask the author of the Extension. May be you can start a list for Extension not working with LibO in the Siki? Please see <http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Extensions_Repository>!
Hello Rainer, *, Thanks for your interest in my problem :) (In reply to comment #1) > I did not see problems using Anaphraseus, but I only did a really short test So did I ... ;) > Uninstall problem is more or less [Reproducible] with Master "LibO-dev 3.4.5 – > WIN7 Home Premium (64bit) English UI > [(Build ID:d337f79-a24c961-2865670-9752b71-7f8fd43 > 2fdd60d-fd28b6a-fd7bf20-aa369cb-28da3fb > 6a9633a-931d089-ecd263f-c9b55e9-b31b807 > 82ff335-599f7e9-bc6a545-1926fdf)]" > > Uninstall will be done without problems or messages (what differs from > reporter's observations), but Menu and toolbars remain after uninstallation. I was wondering about that, too ... :( > This will become complicated ... > > Anaphraseus currently can not be used for LibO? > <http://sourceforge.net/projects/anaphraseus/forums/forum/743096/topic/4470359?message=9851705> > <http://sourceforge.net/projects/anaphraseus/forums/forum/743096/topic/4470359?message=9852554> Well, this is but only one report to a different problem, or am I wrong ;? > I'm afraid the Extensions concept would become unusable if absolute security is > desired. What makes you think that? I have not written anything about security ... ;) > @thackert@nexgo.de > For this Anaphraseus problem you should ask the author of the Extension. Maybe I will do it next weekend, if I have enough time ... :( > May be you can start a list for Extension not working with LibO in the Siki? > Please see <http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Extensions_Repository>! Well, I have reported the problem to the discuss@de.l.l list in the past, but had not the time to add it in the wiki ... :( As I have not installed OOo any longer, I am not sure, if Anaphraseus is still working in OOo ... :( But back to my problem. I have found a workaround to get it uninstalled: 1. Download http://sourceforge.net/projects/anaphraseus/files/Anaphraseus%20OOo%20Extension/2.03%20beta/Anaphraseus_2.03.92b.oxt/download 2. Install it 3. Deinstall it via Anaphraseus -> Deinstall This will remove it without any problem ... ;) Thanks for your comment and have a nice evening Thomas.
Please, verify if problem still exist (move user profile of LibreOffice in safe place before experiments)
Hello Sasha, *, (In reply to comment #3) > Please, verify if problem still exist > (move user profile of LibreOffice in safe place before experiments) this problem still exists in <quote> LibreOffice 3.5.0rc3 Build-ID: 7e68ba2-a744ebf-1f241b7-c506db1-7d53735 </quote> under Debian Testing AMD64 ... :( Have a nice evening Thomas.
Thanks for additional testing. Due to last comment, changing status to New
May be an additional report with reference to this Bug here <http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?group_id=207409&atid=1001492> can be useful?
Hello Rainer, *, (In reply to comment #6) > May be an additional report with reference to this Bug here > <http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?group_id=207409&atid=1001492> > can be useful? done, see http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&aid=3496790&group_id=207409&atid=1001492 ... ;) Maybe you or someone else will add an comment there as well ;? Have a nice afternoon Thomas.
Hi all Anaphraseus required pre/post installation scripts to be run to create/delete menu. So simple uninstall through extension manager is not enough. Recommended way is to use 'Uninstall' from Anaphraseus' menu, or ODT document, containing install/uninstall macros here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/anaphraseus/files/Documentation/Installation%20Guide/ Best regards, Ole Yansen
Hello Ole, *, (In reply to comment #8) > Anaphraseus required pre/post installation scripts to be run to create/delete > menu. O.K. > So simple uninstall through extension manager is not enough. > Recommended way is to use 'Uninstall' from Anaphraseus' menu, I have tried it, got the message to uninstall it via Extension Manager, but it worked. Thanks :) > or ODT document, > containing install/uninstall macros here: > > http://sourceforge.net/projects/anaphraseus/files/Documentation/Installation%20Guide/ Maybe I will try it later. I thought the usual way to uninstall via Extension Manager would be suffice, but it does not seem so ... :( Thanks for your comment anyway and have a nice evening Thomas.
@Thomas: What's the current status here?
Hello Rainer, *, (In reply to comment #10) > @Thomas: > What's the current status here? if I follow my own way via Extension Manager, it still does not work ... :( But if I follow Ole's one from Comment 8, it works (though I have to close LO completely to get rid of the flying window "Addon 2" ... :( ). Thanks for the reminder and a happy new year :) Thomas.
@Thomas: Thx. for info. Can you please leave some notes concerning your experience on <https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Extensions_From_Other_Repositories>?
On pc x86-64 Debian testing updated today with LO Debian package 4.3.0.4, I installed 2.05.126b version. Trying to uninstall it from LO extension manager, I got this: (com.sun.star.lang.IllegalArgumentException) { { { Message = "Cannot detect media-type: file:///home/julien/.config/libreoffice/4/user/uno_packages/cache/uno_packages/luk91kpi.tmp_/Anaphraseus_2.05.126b.oxt.zip", Context = (com.sun.star.uno.XInterface) @2207a10 } }, ArgumentPosition = (short) -1 } I gave also a try with master sources updated today and keyid UI, I got this: (com.sun.star.lang.IllegalArgumentException) { { { Message = "Lyf8m||Cannot detect media-type: file:///home/julien/compile-libreoffice/libreoffice/instdir/program/../program/../user/uno_packages/cache/uno_packages/luk9kkoh.tmp_/Anaphraseus_2.05.126b.oxt.zip", Context = (com.sun.star.uno.XInterface) @9c780e0 } }, ArgumentPosition = (short) -1 }
