Open the attached document, and take a look at the pivot table output on the 2nd sheet.  In the cells where the column labels appear, you see date values instead of version numbers such as 3.3.0, 3.3.1 and 3.4.0.  In the source range those version numbers are given as text strings.

Apparently the format in those cells shouldn't be of date.

The fix will go into 3.4.5 as well.

Maybe someone could check if that means https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=41577 and https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=41540 are also resolved.

The problem as described is fixed.
But now, if you've got date-cells, they too get converted to text.

I believe this can't be the idea of this fix in 3.4.5?

3.4.x is too old.  Get 3.5 RC.
