On the bug system login page at https://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/bug/ there are 5 issues: (a) the keyboard focus is not applied to the first field ('User:') when the page is loaded; (b) there is a large amount of blank space between the form and the footer area; (c) the link for 'create an account' takes you to https://www.libreoffice.org/bugzilla/enter_bug.cgi, when it should take you to https://www.libreoffice.org/bugzilla/createaccount.cgi; (d) having entered some login details into the form, the return key does not work; (e) the 'Sign in' button cannot be tabbed to - the tab order goes from the 'Password:' field to the 'create an account' link, bypassing that button. With respect, all these things should have been picked up in testing - they cannot be by design (can they?). Browser: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:7.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/7.0
(a) I can reproduce that. If you are not logged in from a former session, the login form appears with "User:" and "Password". Caret should be already in "User:" so that you can start to type immediately, but it is not. (b) reproducible, I do not know whether there are good reasons to have that space. (c) has already been discussed in "Bug 42156 - BUGZILLAASSISTANT: Broken Links on the bug report page", but the result still is not optimum? (d) reproducible, I believe Return key should do the same as the 'Sign in' button. (e) reproducible @Ed: <https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/BugReport#General_information> - 4! Please think about that immediately when you type "and" in the Summary! And it seems "Sub Component" picker does not work correct for you, too? ;-) @Loic, Korrawit: Can you please check what can be solved with few expenses? Remaining should be splitted to separate bug reports
See http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Bug_Submission_Assistant#Installation_and_maintainance where to start debugging.
Please do not use https://www.libreoffice.org/bugzilla/*, use https://bugs.freedesktop.org/* URLs instead.. Thanks Florian R.
issues a, c and d are solved. issue b is due to the iframe we are using so I can't solve that easily, and I don't think that is really a problem. issue e is also something I can't solve easily. created a new bugpost for that: https://bugassistant.libreoffice.org/show_bug.cgi?id=62387
