Description tomwoodsv 2012-01-21 14:19:43 UTC
Problem description: I have various spreadsheets within one file of different sizes. One I want width in pages 1, height in pages 4, the next tab I want width in pages 1, height in pages 2. I also have other tabs where I might want to print in landscape instead of portrait. I want all the spreadsheets in one file so I can convert to a PDF to send to recipients so they only have one file to open.

Steps to reproduce:
1. ....
2. ....
3. ....

Current behavior: I set the scale mode for the first tab to 1 width, 4 height, but then when I go into second tab, the 1st tab's settings are defaulted.

Expected behavior: I should be able to set the scale mode for each tab, so if one requires 1 width, 4 height, the second tab requires 1 width, 1 height, and a third tab requires landscape, 1 width, 2 height, once I set the mode for each tab, those settings should be specific for each tab.

Platform (if different from the browser):

Browser: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:9.0.1) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/9.0.1

Thanks for new idea
In LibreOffice all page setting is done via page styles. Enable Stylist (press F11) and create needed page styles, then assign them to different sheets.

Checked with:
LO 3.5.5.3
Build ID: own W7 debug build
Windows 7 Professional SP1 64 bit

It seems that different scaling or page orientation is saved for 1st and 2nd sheets only. 3rd sheet is always copying settings of 2nd sheet, so when you change settings of 3rd - settings of 2nd are changed and vice versa. More sheets = the same problem. Changing 3rd will change 2nd and 4th. 1st keeps its settings.

Looks like it remembers "scaling factor" per page style. So, if we want use 5 sheets with different scaling, we should use 5 different page styles for them.
