Crude mock-up of the proposed Worksheet Manager

I think there is room for improving the means by which you can manage worksheets in LO calc. Inspiration can be drawn from Gnumeric which seems to have the most advanced tool to manage worksheets of all the spreadsheet applications.

see attachment: gnumeric-sheet-manager.png

I would suggest a different approach than above, and instead draw inspiration form the "Slide Sorter", found in LO Presenter, for the general UI layout of the worksheet manager. This would greatly improve the usability when copying/moving work sheets around, which is horrible at the moment imho.

Besides this it would give a great overview of work sheets (including their attributes like protected or hidden), where you simply can scan through the thumbnails to navigate between them.

Manual sorting the slides would obviously be done by drag and drop, but with the the worksheet manager you would also be able to sort the sheets ascending/descending by name.

Suggested actions to be included in the worksheet manager:
- Rename work sheet (including batch rename)
- toggle hidden/show
- toggle protected/unprotected
- remove sheet
- duplicate(copy) sheet
- insert new sheet
- change tab color

These actions will be accessible through a dedicated toolbar and right-click menu. What action that goes where is still to be defined.

I have made a mock-up on how I imagine the worksheet manager to look.

see attachment: LO-sheet-manager-mockup.png

I will start working on the sorting stuff first (ascending/descending). The UI stuff obviously needs to be discussed/refined.
