Description Mihkel Tõnnov 2012-07-07 01:13:51 UTC
The Format menu in Calc has a Conditional Formatting submenu which has two commands: "Conditional Formatting..." and "Manage...". The "Conditional Formatting..." (key-ID Ehv0) could be turned into something a) shorter b) less duplicated -- it looks weird (to me at least) to have two almost identical entries follow each other in the menu hierarchy. I propose something like just "Edit..." or "Apply..." or even "Cells...", i.e. "Format - Conditional Formatting - Edit..." or "Format - Conditional Formatting - Cells...".

This will be fixed in 3-7. The menu and dialogs in 3-6 are only a temporary solution because there was not enough time to implement the full proposal from the ux team. I'll implement the remaining parts and then the menu entry Conditional Formatting... will vanish and there will be three independent entries Condition..., Color Scale... and Data Bar...

Now implemented locally in the feature/cond-format-rework branch. Will be pushed to the public git repo soon and still in October merged into master.

You'll find this feature with some more improvements in 3-7.
