NOT reproducible with "LibreOffice 3.5.5.3. German UI/Locale [Build-ID: 7122e39-92ed229-498d286-15e43b4-d70da21] on German WIN7 Home Premium (64bit). If in meneu 'Tools -> Options -> LibO -> View - UI - Scaling' is maximim (130%) Texts is truncated.

Affected (truncated)
[DE]: Tabellendokument, Zeichnung, Vorlagen (dots missing)
[EN]: Text Document

OK:
French, Spanish

I wonder how button width is defined, I see (always "Tango" theme), symbol size "large", use system font, order in list is order of test

- 63mm - 3.6.0.2   130%  DE
- 44mm - 3.6.0.2    80%  DE
- 55mm - 3.6.0.2   130%  EN   !
- 37mm - 3.6.0.2    80%  EN   !
- 70mm - 3.6.0.2   130%  ES
- 46mm - 3.6.0.2    80%  ES

- 51mm - 3.5.5.3   130%  DE
- 51mm - 3.5.5.3    80%  DE

- 52mm - 3.5.5.3    80%  EN
- 45mm - 3.5.5.3   130%  EN  !!
- 45mm - 3.5.5.3   130%  EN  !!

- 37mm - 3.7.0.0    80%  EN  !!
- 55mm - 3.7.0.0   130%  EN

I am pretty sure that we already had a rework with an older bug report for this problem, but I can't find the Bug.

This issue might be related to font selected in menu ''Tools -> Options -> LibO -> View - UI - Use system Font'

Strange: When increasing scale from 80% to 130% Text size will be increased immediately, Start center buttons after close / reopen

@Jeongsu Kim:
What is your UI language?
Because of continuous rework it would be useful if you could test 3.6.0
Comment 2 Jeongsu Kim 2012-07-25 14:26:00 UTC
@Rainer Bielefeld
My UI language is Korean.

I can reproduce this problem 3.5.5.3 on Gentoo Linux and 3.6.0 on Windows 7, too.

1. Run LibreOffice startup center
2. Tools -> Options -> LibreOffice -> View -> Scaling to 130%

Screenshot from 3.6.0.2

It seems that Start Center GUI has been reworked for 3.6, so that the problem at least for KR does no longer exist
Comment 4 Rainer Bielefeld Retired 2012-07-26 06:44:43 UTC
So WFM for now and [KR]

@reporter:
Please feel free to reopen this bug if you find out that the problem still exists with LibreOffice version 3.6 or later.

Comment 7 Jeongsu Kim 2012-07-26 12:24:02 UTC
It's not fixed in 3.6.0.2 yet.(Version 3.6.0.2, Build ID:815c576) I uploaded two screenshots. One is in English and other is in Korean.

Steps to reproduce.

1. Run LibreOffice Start Center
2. (If Scaling is already set to 130%) Tools -> Options -> LibreOffice -> View -> Scaling to 100%
3. Tools -> Options -> LibreOffice -> View -> Scaling to 130%

Then buttons are small for showing text.

Comments 5 .. 7 decribe a related, but completely different problem:
- Steps how to reproduce is very different from original report
  (with out close LibO)
- Now also English UI (think: every) UI is related.
