Description Valter Mura 2012-08-25 12:13:32 UTC
The new watermark option is useful, but I would like more control on it:

- choose of color
- possibility of transparency
- position and size on document page

Best regards,
Valter

Hi,

This was one of the missing features in corporate usage of Writer. We produce a lot of documents with text watermarks(draft, copy, classified etc).

However there is not an easy way to add, current solutions are some kind of workaround.

Enhancement on text watermarks will be very good.

Best regards,
Zeki

Comment 4 Joel Madero 2014-02-27 22:55:32 UTC
In order to limit the confusion between ProposedEasyHack and EasyHack and to make queries much easier we are changing ProposedEasyHack to NeedsDevEval.

Thank you and apologies for the noise

No easy way to introduce watermarks

Using a photo editing app to create a watermark and then importing it is unacceptable as it creates a photo editing app as a dependency

Microsoft Office and Kingsoft office have an easy an efficient workflow of inserting watermarks
