LibreOffice changes by default the endings of ordinals, eg in "1st", "st" becomes an exponent. However, in version 3.6.3, after this automatic correction, the words following the ordibal are also in the exponent and the user must go to "Characters" and select normal position in the "Position" tab, which is quite annoying. This bug does not exist in 3.5.7. Thank you!
Cannot reproduce both in 3.6.3 and 3.7.
(In reply to comment #1) > Cannot reproduce both in 3.6.3 and 3.7. I installed LibreOffice 3.6.3 about a week ago and I had this problem. I cannot verify it again because I went back to 3.5.7. Maybe a new subversion was released in this week? My operating system is Windows 7 Home Premium.
I installed 3.6.4 today and I can give more details now. If you type "2nd", for example, press "specebar" and continue writing, "nd" goes to the exponent and the following words have a normal position. However, if after specebar, you press "backspace", then all the following words are in the exponent and the user must select manually "normal position". Maybe this is not a bug but an intentional feuture. Anyway, I checked out Microsoft Word 2010, which allows the user to edit the exponent of the ordinal and then goes automatically to the normal position for the next words.
