Both cgit and opengrok provide versioned access to the LibreOffice git repository. Often one browses commits (or old reviews) on cgit and wants to know more about a specific class for example. cgit provides links to a line at a specific revision of a file and shows these as linenumbers, e.g.: http://cgit.freedesktop.org/libreoffice/core/tree/vcl/source/salmain/salmain.cxx?id=44cfc7cb6533d827fd2d6e586d92c61d7d7f7a70#n29 it would be great, if we could additionally have cgit extended so that we would also have a link to: http://opengrok.libreoffice.org/xref/core/vcl/source/salmain/salmain.cxx?r=44cfc7cb6533d827fd2d6e586d92c61d7d7f7a70#29 there, allowing one to jump from cgit directly to opengrok. gcit is currently installed in the gerrit staging instance for the next upgrade.
adding LibreOffice developer list as CC to unresolved EasyHacks for better visibility. see e.g. http://nabble.documentfoundation.org/minutes-of-ESC-call-td4076214.html for details
