On the release notes page there is no correct and complete Version identifyer. In "Help About" the version info is "Version 4.0.0.3", and this has to be mentioned in the release notes. Because we do not state in 'Help About' whether a 4.0.0.2 is a final or a rc, it is mandatory that users can check on our website whether their installed LibO is an RC or a final. Please clarify: Is: "This release is bit-for-bit identical to the 4.0.0 Release Candidate 3 ..." Should be: "Release 4.0.0.3 is bit-for-bit identical to the 4.0.0.3 Release Candidate ..." Same for 3.6.5: Is: "This release is bit-for-bit identical to the 3.6.5 Release Candidate 2 ..." Should be: "Release 3.6.5.2 is bit-for-bit identical to the 3.6.5.2 Release Candidate ..." or similar! May be that in "4.0.0.3" the ".3" can be shown in grey? Or is that only more worrying. Someone with design skills should decide.
Perhaps the easiest way it to post the complete version number in the title of both sections? LibreOffice 4.0.0.3 Final (2013-02-07) LibreOffice 3.6.5.2 Final (2013-02-07) Then it makes it easier for whoever updates the page for the next version updates ... you simply update the section titles without going into the text! Would this work? Marc

At every new version release, we always seem to have problems updating so many lines of text that we miss many. We should make it as easy as possible to change information on text that is similar from version to version. Updating the bug to new. Marc
