On build from master, the about dialog show the commit sha1, but is missing the last character (e.g. 84e4bf884718fcca8934b81b4037e063cf08c71 instead of 84e4bf884718fcca8934b81b4037e063cf08c71e)
I do not know very much how that Build ID has to be created. But at least I can confirm the reported effect.
