Created attachment 88876 [details] Example 33.doc - original file, *.jpg - how document looks like after printing LibreOffice Version: 4.1.3.2 Build ID: 70feb7d99726f064edab4605a8ab840c50ec57a on Russian Windows XP Professional SP3 (32bit) In .DOC file "PF Din Text Cond Pro Light" font is used. It is not present on computer and LibreOffice says that "The current font is not available and will be substituted." .DOC file is opened fine, print preview is fine. But if we try to print text, there are problems (see .jpg attachments). If text is bold - it is printed fine, if usual - big dots are printed instead of text. Digits are printed fine even if they are not bold.
Hi, tried to reproduce with Version: 4.1.3.2 Build ID: 70feb7d99726f064edab4605a8ab840c50ec57a under Ubuntu 13.10 and the document you produced printed correctly, not dots shown. Sophie
Joel - Any repro on windows?
NoRepro:4.2.0.1:OSX Is this bug still valid / reproducible with the latest pre-release 4.2.0.1: http://www.libreoffice.org/download/pre-releases/ Please not that in April 2014 Windows XP will be End Of Live. I'd consider update your OS if you find some free time. Should this be still reproducible for you with the latest LO release please set this bug back to UNCONFIRMED. Should this issue be solved set it to WORKSFORME. Setting to NEEDINFO until more detail is provided.
Still reproducible for me with the latest LibreOffice Version: 4.2.0.1 Build ID: 7bf567613a536ded11709b952950c9e8f7181a4a (after clean install) on Russian Windows XP Professional SP3 (32bit)
Win 8.1 LO 4.2.4.2 this indeed prints docs while LO is showing russian text. NEW and major since if you can't print your files from an office application, this prevents real office work from happening.
