How this pdf file has been produced? In the properties of the pdf I read FOP 0.20.4. Did you reported the problem to Apache FOP too?

Best regards. JBF

It's a package card generated by the online service of Itella Logistics.

As far as I know, only LibreOffice and FireFox display this file incorrectly. Evince, Gimp and Google Chrome display it correctly.

Another example PDF that displays incorrectly within LibreOffice

This bug appears to describe my problem.
I assume the word "import" in this existing bug means, loading a native PDF file into LibreOffice.
The existing example file already associated with this bug appears mostly text, with text scrambled.
This additional file uploaded demonstrates scrambled images also.
Hope the additional example is helpful. Thanks for the great work.

This second file was loaded into LibreOffice multiple ways. First, PDFs were set to open by LibreOffice and the file was double-clicked within Windows Explorer (on a Win 7 Home Premium system). The same results were also obtained by opening Draw first, then opening the file from within Draw; and also by opening Write first, then opening the file from within Write.

I confirm the mess with attachment 92518 [details].
However, attachment 99549 [details] is fine.

I tried producing PDFs with the Prinetti service, but all the ouputted PDFs were somehow completely broken and could not be opened with any software.

The reporter should contact Prinetti support.

Seems like first file is encrypted and therefore is unsuitable for editing.
If you try to copy the text from this file with Adobe Reader - you will see the same garbage.
Second file looks quite good.
Should we close this report then?

Thanks Vort, I'll close this as invalid.
