moving side bars caused ibreoffice to cras and would not open the file again after it recovered the file. I had to go back to 4.1 to recover my work.
Hi, can you give us steps and details on how to reproduce the crash you experienced. Currently, under Linux, if I undock the side panel, I don't have any crash. Version: 4.2.0.4 Build ID: 05dceb5d363845f2cf968344d7adab8dcfb2ba71 - Sophie
Thank-you Sophie, Windows 8.1 Operating system. Moving the side panel to get more room was when it crashed. Also the right had panel Icons are too large for convienient use. All works well in 4.1... Hi Sophie, I got around to reinstalling 4.2 on my Windows 8.1 laptop but it still crashes with this my 18Mb file on Dropbox at: <https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/65191190/An%20Introduction%20to%20Judaism.odp> https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/65191190/An%20Introduction%20to%20Judaism.odp I do not have any trouble with these large training files I normally generate. I hope this helps as I have to go back again to 4.1… Any news as to when it will get onto Android? Thank you for your feedback, but please do not use your e-mail client to answer, post on the bugzilla number instead because it adds extra unnecessary comments. Still I have no crash under Ubuntu, version 4.2.3.1 and your document. I let it unconfirmed, may be it's a Windows issue - Sophie
No problem with LO 4.2.3.1 Windows x64
@Martin: you mind retesting using a more recent version of LibreOffice (currently 4.2.4). Fail to reproduce using 4.2.4. Kind regards, Joren
