Problem description: impress crash when run a search with string not present in Steps to reproduce: 1. open or create a presentation 2. in the search field in left-bottom corner, enter a string wich are not in the presentation and run it 3. impress crash and msgbox offers to retrieve the presentation Current behavior: crash Expected behavior: finish the search and return information that the string is not present. Operating System: Windows XP Version: 4.2.0.4 release
On pc Debian x86-64 with 4.2 sources updated some days ago, I don't reproduce this on a brand new file. bcag2: did you install any LO specific extension? For the test, could you give a try after having renamed your LO directory profile (see https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile)?

If I am on first slide, it crash as soon I launch a search on unexisting string. If I am on second slide, it scrash if I confirm to continue the search at the beginning of presentation. I attached my directories tree capture. I renamed Doc..Settings/bertrand/Application Data/LibreOffice/4 to Doc..Settings/bertrand/Application Data/LibreOffice/4.2 I don't know if it is what you want I do? Perhaps the fact I was previous 3 then 4.0 version create issue? I have too old MS Office 2003 ! I just make a test on a new installation windows 7SP1 64 bits with LO 4.2.1.1, it was fixed. Thank you for this quick fix Bertrand (bcag2)
