At my default templates, the default tabulator position is 8 millimeters. At some documents this is 7.50 millimeters. At these documents, this is set back to 12.70 millimeters by oneself not always but regularly. This can cause data loss, so I choosed major severity.
Please, could you describe a detailed scenario to reproduce the problem? Best regards. JBF
I can not describe this in more detailed. This error maybe not reproductible. My English is not perfect, maybe "by itself" is the correct form, not "by oneself". I edited the documents, this took some hours, and the default tabulator position went wrong.
Zoltan, I understand that: in your template, the setting of tab stop is not preserved. I could not reproduce the issue under Linux. Could you attach the template that shows the issue so I can try to do exactly the same as you? Thanks, set as need info - Sophie
(In reply to comment #3) > Zoltan, I understand that: in your template, the setting of tab stop is not > preserved. The template remained unchanged (7.5 mm). I opened a big document, I edited it, and after some minutes, the default tabulator position is changed by itself: from 8 mm to 12.7 mm (1/2"). I restored it, and after some minites again, the position is changed by itself, newly to 1/2". There is an another error report from me, about the font of some characters: fully the same as this, in the same document.
In my previous comment, I exchanged 7.5 mm and 8 mm, sorry.
Please attach "big document" that you referred to. Please also try with a fresh profile (make sure to back up since you have your own templates) https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile Marking as NEEDINFO as we need more information and verification that it happens on a fresh profile. Also please try running 4.2: http://www.libreoffice.org/download/libreoffice-fresh/ If you still can reproduce please set to UNCONFIRMED after you attach the big document that you see the issue. Thanks
