Testcase

In the attached testcase, calc fails to apply transparency to the bottom right logo (black background instead of white). The same file opens fine in Excel 2007

confirmed on 4.1.4.2 and 3.6.0.4 as well under Win7x64.
so it's not a new issue... we should look for possible duplicates in the database.
please post a screenshot of the file under MS Excel showing correct transparency

Hm not sure about this. When I open the testcase.xls with Word 2011 on OSX 10.9.2 I do not see any logo at all.

When I download the logo in questions from the web to my desktop and add it to the testcase.xls via menu Insert > Image > From file

the logo displays just fine.

Save in xls > reopen > logo still fine.

NoRepro:4.2.2.1:OSX

Setting to worksforme.

Should the problem persist after adding the logo again in 4.2.2.1 or newer and then not be displayed correctly, please re-open.

Then you've found a bug in excel 2011 for mac (I assume the word part is a typo). Does not change the bug in Libreoffice.

Recreating a different file does not invalidate the bug hit with the attached testcase. Please do not close bugs where you have not used the provided testcase to test.

From what I can see this was never confirmed by QA team - moving to UNCONFIRMED to get their confirmation.

No repro on 3.3.0.
Repro on 3.5.0.

So it's a regression, but not bibisectable.
