Created attachment 95603 [details] Example dialog as presented when printing to PDF. Problem description: I'm sorry if this is a duplicate or even not a real bug or worse, already fixed. If I have a document, *ANY* document in writer (all I've tried so far) and ask to print it I'm given a dialog which gives me the option of updating four fields, Title, Author (the important one) and Subject & Keywords. (Also security options.) However, if I use the "Export as PDF" option, those fields are not presented for update. This *normally* isn't a problem however, for this document I'm trying to put someone else's name as author (since they wrote it and I formatted it) and I can't. It very well may be pilot error and I apologize if it is. I've also checked the 'Properties' menu option and there's no place to set the author's name for the document! A side effect that I've run into is also that the "Print to PDF" option does not create the table of contents/index in the PDF whereas "Export to PDF" does. Expected behavior: Before printing or Exporting, I'd expect to be able to set any/all variable fields from the 'Properties' menu option or in another dialog. When printing or exporting, I'd expect the options presented to be very close to the same. Operating System: Mac OS X Version: 4.1.5.3 release

Marked as enhancement request. I would agree that it would be good to have the opportunity to modify and insert the Title, Author, Subject and Keywords of a PDF file if you export it as a pdf in WRITER (see File -> Properties if you open a PDF file with the Adobe Reader).
