Description stongench 2014-04-10 21:46:38 UTC
Problem description:

there's no table border when you insert a new table

Steps to reproduce:
1. open writer
2. create a new table (ctrl+F12)
3. click on borders and nothing will happen

Current behavior:
No table even if you click borders and try to apply it

Expected behavior:
insert table border direct when you create one

Operating System: Ubuntu
Version: 4.2.3.1 rc

Please try: Menu Table → Table Boundaries (enabled).

Probably a dup of Bug 76195 - regression: with "Table Boundaries" disabled, the borders of tables are not visible.

Have seen the same effect. Opened a document for writing the new German Base-documentation - all borders around tables have been gone with LO 4.2.

Open the attached document. There are two tables. Default for all tables is:Table → Property: Merge adjacent line styles chosen. This is the default in every version of LO. You could chose any kind of border, but it doesen't work when this option is chosen.
Works with every LO-Version up to LO 4.1.6.1, also with the first LO 4.2 - have tested it with 4.2.0.0rc1. Doesn't work with LO 4.2.3.3.

My system: OpenSUSE 12.3 64bit rpm Linux
