Steps to reproduce:

1. New Calc/Writer/Draw...
2. View-Toobar-Drawing, then draw a shape.
3. Right-click the shape, then click "Area - Gradients" tab.

Current Behaviour:

By default, the first pre-defined item in the right-side list box is selected. This causes this item be modifed if you change any value on the left side (A dialog will popup asking you if you want to save the changes).
This is a bug, libreoffice by default should not select the pre-defined item.

However, when you click OK and then open that tab for the second time, the pre-defined items are not selected. This is expected.

Same problem in 3.6.7.2, ubuntu 14.04 x86. Set platform to ALL.
Comment 2 Jean-Baptiste Faure 2014-07-19 08:39:41 UTC
Reproducible with LibreOffice 4.3.1.0.0+ build at home under Ubuntu 14.04 x86-64.
I agree that the first pre-defined item of the list box should not be selected.
Set status to NEW.

Best regards. JBF
