Description Hans Breuer 2014-08-30 13:56:19 UTC
Trying to open render-test.cgm in Draw imports the file to Impress. At least for files containing only single CGM picture it should be possible to open it in Draw.
Comment 1 Joel Madero 2014-09-03 09:01:59 UTC
Please attach a cgm file. Marking as NEEDINFO - once you add attachment set to UNCONFIRMED. Thanks!
Comment 2 Maxim Monastirsky 2014-09-03 09:26:13 UTC
I think the reporter is referring to attachment 105465 [details] from Bug 83272.

cgm is indeed registered as Impress type here: http://opengrok.libreoffice.org/xref/core/filter/source/config/fragments/filters/CGM___Computer_Graphics_Metafile.xcu#29

The issue still exists with 4.3.0.4 on Windows and according to comment #2 I doubt this is specific to this single file.

Reproduced.

Comment 6 V Stuart Foote 2014-11-13 18:16:11 UTC
Might be reasonable to adjust filter support for CGM images to include handling in the Draw component. Otherwise, NOTABUG because as in comment 2 Impress is the designated handler for CGM images--as implemented in OOo.

Setting Enhancement

The issues of poor vector line style import filtering of bug 83272 remain.
