Description Frank Spade 2014-09-24 23:41:12 UTC
I got a presentation wish makes Impress very unstable and finally crashes it when I try to switch to the Notes-View.

I cannot reproduce this with an empty presentation and will attach my presentation.

When I change to notes view Impress becomes unstable and after trying other options crashes.

The file is too big and I wasn't able to paste it in the file field, therefore I'll do it here: "http://www.spade.de/downloads/PV Vergleich 9-24a.odp"

Hi Frank.. I can't reproduce crash with LO 4.3.1.2 portable - Win7 x86.

But I can confirm it's very laggy on Notes view, takes minutes to change slide in Notes view. Loading that file also takes minutes, looks like freeze but no crash.

Would you mind do debugging: https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/BugReport/Debug_Information#Windows

@Frank - please be clearer about the problem. What do you mean by "when trying other options." Please give us exact reproducible steps, your Operating System, your version of LibreOffice, and any other useful information.

Setting to NEEDINFO. Once you provide clear answers please set to UNCONFIRMED. Thanks

Frank: 2 things you might do which could help
1) Upgrade to 4.3.2
2) Rename your LO directory profile https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile#Windows
Then give it a new try.
If you can still reproduce this, please provide information asked by Joel.
