How about implementing a QA (Quality Assurance) module for checking references. I work with many large documents and I'm having trouble spotting invalid references ("Error: Reference not found") As I work with a master document, for some reason I spot the invalid references only at the master document level, and some are invalid only in the master document, while being valid in the subdocument itself.

What specifically would it provide for users? > As I work with a master document, for some reason I spot the invalid > references only at the master document level, and some are invalid only in > the master document, while being valid in the subdocument itself. Hmm... so how do you think the reference-checker should deal with your example of refs that are valid in a sub-document but not in a master document? (After you answer the q's, please change the status back to 'UNCONFIRMED')
