In a database there are three forms. It happens to all three forms. If I open a form, which was working normaly with LibreOffice 3.x on Mac OSX, the form will appear after a short wait and the colored spinnig ball of death is spinning and spinning and spinning ... sometimes LO will close by itself, but mostly not. All other operations (Queries, Tables, Reports) are working. It only happens on OS X (Yosemetie 10.0 and 10.6 Snow Leopard), on both systems LO 4.3.2.2 is working. The database is working on Win8 with LO 4.2.6.3 absolute normaly.
Which type of database? embedded hsqldb? Mysql? other?
(In reply to Julien Nabet from comment #1) > Which type of database? embedded hsqldb? Mysql? other? type of DB: embedded hsqldb, localy stored (not on an server)
Would it be possible you attach the file (have in mind that any attachment is automatically made public, so remove any private/confidential part) by using this link: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/attachment.cgi?bugid=85341&action=enter ?
Created attachment 108258 [details] Database with no access to forms
On pc Debian x86-64, I used different versions: - master sources updated today: I don't reproduce this - 4.3.2 LO Debian package : I reproduced this - 4.3 sources updated 20 days ago : I reproduced this and noticed this on console: warn:dbaccess:11151:1:dbaccess/source/core/api/RowSetBase.cxx:211: ORowSetBase::getValue: Illegal call here (we're before first or after last)!
Have tested it with LO 4.3.0.0beta1 and alpha0. When I try to open the form LO crashes immediately. The form could be opened well with LO 4.2.7.1 When I create the same form as "ALLZEIT" by the wizard it will work also with the newer versions - but where is the difference? My system: OpenSUSE 12.3 64bit rpm Linux. So I change the system to "all" and the version to the first LO 4.3
Tested some more: Version: 4.3.4.0.0+ Build ID: 0bb29affae83d0410f745f46267527e10777fcd2 TinderBox: Linux-rpm_deb-x86_64@46-TDF, Branch:libreoffice-4-3, Time: 2014-10-23_14:01:25 works right. This is only a dev-version. So let us have a look if it will be gone with 4.3.4
Adding self to CC if not already on
For the record, I don't reproduce this with master sources updated yesterday.
