Currently there is a limit of 1000 iterations that LibreOffice Calc can go over when iteration is enabled (Options > LibreOffice Calc > Calculate). The user should be able to specify the maximum amount of iterations he considers reasonable for his hardware and or problem to solve.

Seems like a plausible enhancement request from Calc power users. CC'ing Markus to weigh-in for the Calc devs.
