Hi Tim, (In reply to Tim Lloyd from comment #1) > as usual I get garbage when I try and view the attachment. Is this just me > or can someone advise details to attach an odt file. Yes, it's a known flaw of the current bugzilla instance. You can correct it by clicking on the "Details" link next to the attachment entry, and then on "edit details", and fix the MIME type. I'll do it this time.
works fine under Win81x64 using 4.5.0.0.alpha0+ Build ID: f20043a0805c3a75eb4024ed59f45291aea93ac0 TinderBox: Win-x86@39, Branch:master, Time: 2014-12-03_01:16:50 Locale: it_IT
My LibreOffice 4.4.0 beta 1 installation doesn't locks but anyway I could not see any .ps file in output.
Maybe linux only. I get the same problem with 4.5 Version: 4.5.0.0.alpha0+ Build ID: ebfec3517d001f8aa8baaabde7c4af6b01347b95 TinderBox: Linux-rpm_deb-x86_64@46-TDF, Branch:master, Time: 2014-12-06_00:52:12 Locale: en_AU
(In reply to Tim Lloyd from comment #0) Repro steps: > I select print > print to file > select the relevant page (page 5) File -> Print (opens dialog) Under 'General' tab, set Pages to 5 Under 'Options' tab, check the box for 'Print to file' Then click the button 'Print to file'. > specify a file name in my Downloads folder > writer locks up after I hit save NOREPRO with LO 4.4.0.0.beta2 + Ubuntu 14.04 It's always possible there's corruption in the UserProfile: https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile#Resolving_corruption_in_the_user_profile
Hi, I installed 4.4beta2 and deleted my profile The problem persists
bad to hear that Tim. any chance you can try to reproduce the bug on a different computer?
I jumped onto another PC running Fedora 20 which I seldom use this has 4.2.4.1. Print to file - no problem So I installed 4.4.0.0 beta2 and I can recreate the problem. Version: 4.4.0.0.beta2 Build ID: be92f32b8f21603a6b7a75dd645f7475bdee519d Locale: en_AU When I get time later today I will set up a VM running linux mint and see whether the problem persists
Hi, I set up a VM using Linux Mint 17 and LO 4.4.0.0 beta2 with the same problem. So that is 2 separate computers both running Fedora and 4.4.0.0 beta2 plus a VM running Mint and 4.4.0.0 beta2 all manifesting this problem
No repro here either. Ubuntu 14.10 64-bit Version: 4.5.0.0.alpha0+ Build ID: f92183833fa569006602ac7e93c906d2094e0d4d TinderBox: Linux-rpm_deb-x86_64@46-TDF-dbg, Branch:master, Time: 2014-12-14_00:21:45

Is this a 32bit machine? This tool could be very helpful in aiding you in tracking down when the builds stopped working for you between 4.3.3.2 and 4.4.0.0 But first, please test 4.4.0.2 https://www.libreoffice.org/download/pre-releases/ And also a daily build of 4.5-master http://dev-builds.libreoffice.org/daily/master/ Status -> NEEDINFO (change status back to UNCONFIRMED after you provide all the info/run the tests. thanks!
