Description richard 2017-04-03 20:10:20 UTC
hello ,

this is not a bug;

i do have installed debian wheezy on my computer / powerpc - powermac7,3

the graphic card is radeon xt9650 (rv350)

would need please help on howto install proper graphicsdriver as the ones provided by debian do not allow me to watch video outside youtube (which works with html5).

but video on mpv or mplayer(gnome) is only showing bluescreen.

won't upgrade to debian jessie on this computer for several reasons for now.

my question also if radeon driver available for debian wheezy or do i need to build myself? i remember that in ubuntu powerpc the driver is being picked up by the software/hardware update system. no such thing on debian as far i know.

and are those instructions also valid for powerpc?

thank you very much
