I have suddenly started experiencing kernel panics with my Nvidia GT630 (NV108).
It started happening after a system update (kernel was updated, but I am getting the same with an older kernel).

Shortly after booting, sometimes in the middle of it, it goes into a kernel panic. It doesn't happen all the time, but it seems to be random, every other time.
I tested it with the proprietary Nvidia driver and there were no kernel panics with that one.

Could this be related to bug #101184 ?

Other people have confirmed kernel panics too, downstream on the Arch Linux forums.

I think on the 4.11 kernel tree it is triggered by this commit: https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/stable/linux-stable.git/commit/?h=v4.11.3&id=2138faf017517acf837816101f778d5c9cda37ef

could you verify that linux 4.11.2 works?

Yes, 4.11.2 works. I just tested it myself and another user also reported[0] that it works for them.
