I cannot attach it I get a "File is empty" message... is it possible to attach a 3.1mb file? (In reply to comment #1) > I cannot attach it I get a "File is empty" message... > is it possible to attach a 3.1mb file? yeah, it is: bugzilla was just broken for a while. fixed now, though, so try again. Created attachment 9083 [details]
the video showing this bug
I reencoded it I hope this is small works now...
on the video you will see this happening with gnome-terminal while other windows (like gnome-system-monitor) works fine.
this was on xorg 7.1 and lastest git compiz.
I can't reproduce this issue but I suspect that it's a libwnck issue and not a compiz issue. ok, any idea how to debug this? (In reply to comment #0) > I have posted this serval times to the ml bug got no response so I decided to > fill a bug with a video that shows the problem. > The problem is: > Sometimes when I start a window like thunderbird or gnome-terminal the > gnome-panel always show this window even when I am on a different viewport. > Why? Other windows work fine (this sometimes happens with gedit too) > I will attach the screencast after submiting this... Are the windows fullscreen? Can you see the window moving in and out of the screen when minimising then maximising it? It happens to me because the windows aren't fullscreen, and there's probably one pixel on the viewport where you think the window isn't.

no look at the attached video they are normal windows (default gnome-terminal is on the video)
something between git 20070427 and 20070505 fixed it (at least it did never happend with 20070505 yet) commit 0a3befab53cda403ddb0ff3cd1d3944011f715c0 is what fixed it. But that libwnck's tasklist widget shows applications in every viewport when they are only present on every desktop is sort broken. Closing as fixed. |
