Description Tapio 2007-03-12 08:10:08 UTC
When I try to run JK2:Outcast with wine or cedega, it will play the videos but when it should show me the menus it only draws some lines so I can't play it. The console also whines:
Mesa 6.5.2 implementation error: external dxt library not available
Please report at bugzilla.freedesktop.org.

I am running X.org 7.2 with 2.6.18 kernel.

This looks to me like it tries to use online s3tc texture compression, which will only work if you have installed libtxc_dxtn. Unless you haven't fake-enabled s3tc with driconf this shouldn't actually happen as the application is supposed to query if it's available.

Great. It works when I disabled it, so I must have done something stupid when I enabled it. Sorry and thanks.
