Can you report this to the BlueZ developers? They can be contacted on the linux-bluetooth mailing list: http://vger.kernel.org/vger-lists.html#linux-bluetooth

I believe the bluetooth adapter has more to do with this problem than the headset, so you should also include your computer's bluetooth adapter model in the report.

The BlueZ developers haven't been very responsive regarding these issues, which is why the default value of autodetect_mtu was changed to "no" as of PulseAudio 11.1.
