The original issue for this bug hasn't been reproduced since the link above. However, the bug has been covered by other issues I will archive and close I got the following error on igt@kms_flip@blocking-wf_vblank on BXT. Since it is identical, I re-open the bug to keep the history of it. (kms_flip:1942) CRITICAL: Test assertion failure function check_final_state, file kms_flip.c:1022: (kms_flip:1942) CRITICAL: Failed assertion: elapsed >= min && elapsed <= max (kms_flip:1942) CRITICAL: Last errno: 25, Inappropriate ioctl for device (kms_flip:1942) CRITICAL: dropped frames, expected 601, counted 600, encoder type 2 Subtest blocking-wf_vblank failed. https://intel-gfx-ci.01.org/tree/drm-tip/CI_DRM_3752/shard-apl8/igt@kms_flip@blocking-wf_vblank.html Also seen on KBL: (kms_flip:1885) CRITICAL: Test assertion failure function check_final_state, file kms_flip.c:1022: (kms_flip:1885) CRITICAL: Failed assertion: elapsed >= min && elapsed <= max (kms_flip:1885) CRITICAL: Last errno: 25, Inappropriate ioctl for device (kms_flip:1885) CRITICAL: dropped frames, expected 209, counted 200, encoder type 2 Subtest basic-flip-vs-wf_vblank failed. https://intel-gfx-ci.01.org/tree/drm-tip/IGT_4266/shard-kbl7/igt@kms_flip@basic-flip-vs-wf_vblank.html This used to be reproducible at least every 10 runs, and now nothing since CI_DRM_4138_full (1 month, 2 weeks / 771 runs ago).
