I can confirm this bug on svn320332 too. I'm using vanilla kernel. Vega broke around the same time. https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=104192 "llvm-svn revision 320250 gives me the freezes meanwhile, 317901 doesnt." It could be a different bug though. FWIW, I bisected some piglit regressions to LLVM SVN r319894. sorry had wrong bug, open and changed it to resolved. But it is fixed with new LLVM. Most likely it was the same issue. Created attachment 136030 [details] dmesg RX 480, mesa master. I only tried 4.15-rc2 with DC and drm-next-4.16 with DC and it happens on both. With llvm 319975 (and 320007) I get a GPU hang every time I start firefox nightly (in X). With llvm 319882 it works fine.
