Description Vedran Miletić 2017-12-10 19:55:36 UTC
I'm using amd-staging-drm-next c55469bdd90b83bd31b40dd1eca5e50678731ac1 on

43:00.0 VGA compatible controller [0300]: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD/ATI] Vega 10 XT [Radeon RX Vega 64] [1002:687f] (rev c1)

I have an AMD X399 motherboard. If I attempt suspend, machine will hang. However, if I boot with 'nomodeset', both suspend and resume work (the keyboard is working and I can SSH into the machine; the display doesn't come up, but that's a separate issue).

Did you look into bug 104281?
Comment 3 Harry Wentland 2018-02-27 00:58:28 UTC
We have a few new patches in our staging trees relating to suspend and driver unload.

Would you be able to try syncing amd-staging-drm-next and see if the issue has been fixed?
