I have a notebook with AMD RX500 GPU, and the amdgpu kernel module in 4.13.16 linux kernel version sometimes causes hang at shutdown. I think the hang is more likely to happen the longer I've kept my laptop on, especially if I connect/disconnect external monitors.

I can attach additional information as requested. So far I've blacklisted the amdgpu module and haven't encountered any hangs on shutdown.
