Without the "certain application" we don't know how to reproduce. (In reply to comment #3) > Without the "certain application" we don't know how to reproduce. > The application is ikamap, the map editor for the Ika game engine: http://sourceforge.net/projects/ika I did not bother to mention it back then because it is a rather obscure application and relies on uncommon third-party libraries, which make it a hassle to build. I will try it again soon and see if I can still reproduce the lockup. Is ikamap the only application you found with this issue? It'll be easier if it can reproducible on a more common app. Christian, I'm having a similar bug to you playing Torcs and in the Endgame screensaver. It has others applications, but I dont't remember now. I have an Intel G965 MB too. (In reply to comment #0) > Graphics: Intel G965 onboard > Server: 1.2.99.903 > Driver: Intel 1.9.93 > Mesa: 6.5.2 > Kernel: 2.6.20 > > The crash occurs when I drag a dialog window accross an OpenGL-drawn area in a > certain application (wxWidgets 2.4/GTK based). If the crash only occurs when it is obscured by other windows, it should be fixed in the latest i965 driver. Please reopen if the problem still exists with the latest driver. |
