In this case the IGT debug output into kmsg is essential. Created attachment 138116 [details]
cnl_debugfs_complete
I can't reproduce issue with today's FF configuration:
[gfx@CNL-1] [tests]$ : sudo -E ./debugfs_test --r read_all_entries
IGT-Version: 1.22-g1bb3995 (x86_64) (Linux: 4.16.0-rc5-drm-intel-qa-ww11-commit-307515c+ x86_64)
Subtest read_all_entries: SUCCESS (0.164s)
This time I'm getting the full information in the log. I believe that while the dmesg has all the igt messages, for some reason the kern.log isn't recording those. Shouldn't both have them?

By the way, I'm still able to reproduce reliably with yesterday commit, this time I'm attaching the dmesg instead the kern.log.
