Operating system: Fedora 27
pulseaudio-11.1-15.fc27.x86_64
KDE Frameworks 5.44.0
Qt 5.9.4
plasma-desktop-5.12.3-2.fc27.x86_64

I noticed that when I log into Plasma and my system is fully in idle, without any user application started, pulseaudio process load is in the range of [2, 5]%
I attach operf log

How do I use the operf log? Debian doesn't seem to have any packages that would contain a program named "operf" or "oprofile".

Can you attach the output from "pactl list" when you observe the problem?

operf usage suggestion comes from
https://www.freedesktop.org/wiki/Software/PulseAudio/Documentation/Developer/CPULoad/

Next time I will be able to reproduce the problem I will attach pactl list

Hmm... the instructions in the wiki are old, and while they're not necessarily obsolete, the fact is that I don't have OProfile available, because it's not in Debian (and hasn't been for a long time).

I'll wait for the "pactl list" output, I hope that's OK.
