policy strict
By default Debian launchs Modem Manager with policy strict. Version used: ricardo@neopili:~$ sudo dpkg -l modemmanager Desired=Unknown/Install/Remove/Purge/Hold | Status=Not/Inst/Conf-files/Unpacked/halF-conf/Half-inst/trig-aWait/Trig-pend |/ Err?=(none)/Reinst-required (Status,Err: uppercase=bad) ||/ Name Version Architecture Description +++-=================-=============-=============-======================================= ii modemmanager 1.7.990-1 amd64 D-Bus service for managing modems Thanks! Yep, same thing as in #106234. So far, the only thing we can currently say is that the STRICT filter works as expected. We'll need to find a way to detect these devices. We actually had a bug in the way kernel drivers are matched. It's now fixed in MM git master and will be released with 1.8. |
