Description Eric Anholt 2004-08-12 23:55:56 UTC
At this point the R100 render acceleration should be in good shape. We should
test that it doesn't interfere with 3D clients, and if so, enable it by default.
If we don't enable R200 at the same time, we'll want to adjust our config
option for render accel. Marking it a blocker as it's a pretty significant new
feature.

I have machines set up here to run tests on R100 and R200. All of my tests so
far have worked fine, but I may not be exercising the part of the code that was
causing problems before. What specific cases that needs testing?

It turns out the races described in bug #770 could result in rendering glitches
in 3d clients when using with Render acceleration.

Render acceleration has been reenabled.
