Machine: Desktop device with both Intel iGPU and AMD dGPU graphic output

While I was debugging a video hotplug issue, I found that Xorg usually crashed and the X session was terminated. The symptom is almost the same with this bug[1]. So I applied the patch mentioned in the comment[2]. The patch does resolve the crash issue. I used the machine a while, and no side effect was found.

I have check the master branch in the git repository, and the patch is not there. I am wondering if the patch will be merged, or there is anything else could resolve the crash issue.

The attachment is the gdb output which was produced by the instructions on the web page[3].
