I join a video capture : http://aprovin.linux62.org/others/screenshots/dri-mesa-6.5.2.mpeg I'm having the same problem with the ati driver and a ATI Technologies Inc Radeon Mobility M7 LW [Radeon Mobility 7500] card. I'm using the same versions as Aurelien in Debian Sid. With the 7.0.1 version, blender crash : guessing 'blender-bin' == '/usr/bin/blender-bin' Compiled with Python version 2.4.4. Checking for installed Python... got it! /usr/bin/blender: line 46: 8958 Segmentation fault blender-bin "$@" If blender still segfaults with latest drm and Mesa, could you produce a backtrace, Aurelien? The bug is different between 6.5.2 and 7.0.1 release. So I have opened a new bug report (https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=12164) which is solved. I think we can close this bug report. Many thanks Closing this bug reopen if you still experience same issue with recent mesa. |
