Created attachment 140777 [details] output of pacmd info on Ubuntu 18.04 I have a white-brand USB audio dongle which is a C-Media chip. With Ubuntu 18.04 (it's using PulseAudio 11.1), the sound setting applet shows "Headphones - Audio Adapter" and an additional audio device "Digital Output (S/PDIF) - Audio Adapter". But originally Ubuntu 16.04 (PulseAudio 8.0) only shows the headphone device. I'm wondering if this is expected behavior for the new version of PulseAudio, or there is something wrong within the dongle, PulseAudio, or Ubuntu?
