I noticed that "Xorg -configure" creates a configuration file with "keyboard" as
keyboard driver instead of the new "kbd". I think that the attached patch fixes
it. (not tested, but it's a one-liner)

Yep, that should be updated.  I'll commit this with the 
#if USE_DEPRECATED_KEYBOARD_DRIVER check check so it still outputs "keyboard"
when the new driver is not configured.
