Could you specify: Which version of the font you are using, which operating system you are using, and the application, because any recent version of DejaVu should have all 23 present. (In reply to comment #1) > Which version of the font you are using, DejaVu Sans 2.17 (the latest font available at the time I filed this.) I've just updated to 2.20, and am seeing the same problem. > which operating system you are using, Windows XP (SP2) > and the application, Character Map > because any recent version of DejaVu should have all 23 present. I was using Character Map to check, because I know web-browsers will just substitute a different font for missing glphs, so even though I can see the currency symbols in an HTML file, I can't be sure they're coming from DejaVu. Character Map shows the glyphs from U+20A0 to U+20AF, but then skips to U+20D0 (i.e. does not show the currency symbols from U+20B0 to U+20B5) If you think/know that Character Map is bugged, can you recommend another tool for checking specific glyphs in a specific font? (In reply to comment #2) > > which operating system you are using, > > Windows XP (SP2) SP2 was released on August 6, 2004. > Character Map shows the glyphs from U+20A0 to U+20AF, but then skips to U+20D0 > (i.e. does not show the currency symbols from U+20B0 to U+20B5) U+20B2-U+20B5 were added in Unicode 4.1.0 (March 2005) so I don't know if XP SP2 can handle them. U+20B0-U+20B1, added in Unicode 3.2.0 (March, 2002), should be handled. > If you think/know that Character Map is bugged, can you recommend another tool > for checking specific glyphs in a specific font? BabelMap is apparently good. http://www.babelstone.co.uk/Software/BabelMap.html Things are looking good in BabelMap (using 'single font', with DejaVu Sans) Obviously a bug in Character Map... so I'm resolving this with NOTOURBUG.
