This issue doesn't happen on i965. Your log doesn't appear to be from a crashed X Server. Created attachment 10372 [details]
Xorg.0.log
This is the new X log file when X crashed when running SPECViewPerf.
The log file is catched on G33(64bit) platform. Again, the log you posted appears to be from a freshly-started X Server. I've run SpecViewPerf past the bit of the log in comment #1 just fine. SPECViewPerf (like many testing apps other than xtest) does get confused if you run on a bare X Server like in comment #1. Run some app like xlogo to prevent server regens. So, is there an actual server crash involved? I tested the bug by 'startx', not on a bare X server. I have tried to reproduce the bug several times. But it appeared only once, X exits. Now I can't reproduce it at all. Let's close this bug, if it can be reproduced, it can be reopened. Mass version move, cvs -> git |
