The 3D engine may be r400 based, but the display engine (crtcs, output controls, plls, etc.) is avivo based (like r5xx and above) so it cannot be supported by the current radeon ddx. :-( Thank you... should be supportable in the radeonhd driver. There is now some limited support for RS690. DAC (analog) output should work and also direct (lvds) panels should (if the system is booted with them active). We don't have hardware to verify the other outputs (yet). For DDC some registers have shifted compared to r6xx (it's using the same i2c engine as r6xx). This may also be the case for some outputs. Assigning to me. Created attachment 12452 [details] Logs from Asus M2A-HDMI motherboard I have no success with actual git state on Asus M2A-HDMI with radeonhd driver. (WW) RADEONHD(0): Unknown card detected: 0x791E:0x1043:0x826D. Your card might not work or might not work optimally. To rectify this, please contact radeonhd@opensuse.org. Include your X log, the full name of the device and the conntest (found in utils/conntest) output. (--) RADEONHD(0): Detected an RS690 on an unidentified card (EE) RADEONHD(0): Cannot map connectors on an unknown card! Please try a recent version of our driver. DVI/HDMI support will have to be postponed until this hardware is available to us for testing and development. Current driver seems to work great with VGA connected monitor on ASUS M2A-VM HDMI motherboard. |
